Song Choices

Last lesson we decided to begin looking for a song for our music video. We began by searching through Ipods of other peoples as well as our own to see what music we liked and thought would work. We brainstormed as a group onto a large piece of paper a few songs before going onto You Tube to continue our search. We discovered a few songs from the suggestions list down the right hand side on You Tube, which suggested songs which would relate to the one you were already listening too, whether it would be the same artist or the same genre of music. We all had many different ideas about the songs that we thought would be suitable but we choose a few of them from the list to consider. Throughout the lesson, these are some of the songs we had come up with.

The song choice we were looking for had to have powerful lyrics and preferably relatively fast pace so that the video did not have to be slow. We also had to search for a song that was not well known. After eliminating the songs one by one, we made a final decision on Lifehouse - Halfway Gone which we are going to make a video for.
